What Prospector does
Prospector helps agencies create white-label AEO audit reports for outbound sales and outreach. Add each prospect's webpage, choose what the reports should include, and generate a shareable web report and PDF for every successful audit.
Use Prospector when you already know which businesses you want to contact and need useful, personalized material for your outreach. If you want visitors to request their own audit from your website, use the AEO Audit Widget instead.
Plan each campaign around one consistent report setup. Every report in a campaign uses the same language, branding, report sections, and AI Search Visibility settings.
Keep a list of prospect websites ready before you begin. For most prospects, the homepage is the right place to start. Use a specific product, service, or landing page only when that page is more relevant to your campaign.
1. Set up the campaign
Open Prospector from your AI Page Ready agency dashboard, then select New Campaign.
The first step controls the campaign name, completion notifications, report appearance, AI Search Visibility, and PDF branding.
Name the campaign
Enter a descriptive internal name, such as September SaaS outreach or Shopify agencies — UK. Prospects do not see the campaign name.
You can also add one or more Completion Notification Emails. AI Page Ready emails these recipients when the campaign has finished processing and all available reports are ready.
Choose the report appearance
- Remove AI Page Ready's Branding — Use this for a fully white-label prospect experience.
- Report Theme — Choose the light or dark presentation that best matches your agency.
- Report Language — Select the language used across the reports in this campaign.
- Accent Color and Text Color — Choose readable, contrasting colors that match your brand.
Configure AI Search Visibility
Enable AI Search Visibility when you want each report to check whether the prospect's brand is recommended for relevant searches. You can check ChatGPT, Gemini, or both.
AI Search Visibility does not require an additional Prospector credit. A successful webpage still uses one credit in total.
Brand the PDF
Turn on Add your agency branding to report PDFs to add your agency identity and contact details. You can configure:
- Agency logo
- Agency name and website
- Contact email and phone number
- A custom cover title and introductory message
Use Sample PDF Report to see the standard PDF structure and content in the selected language. It is a general sample and does not preview the agency branding or cover content entered for this campaign.
2. Choose what appears in the reports
The Configure Report step controls the summary content, categories, and individual checks included in every report generated by the campaign.
You can include or remove:
- Recommendations — Gives the prospect a practical list of actions they can take to improve the audited webpage.
- Top Strengths & Areas for Improvement — Summarizes what the webpage already does well and the most important opportunities to address.
- Section Scores — Shows category-level scores so the prospect can quickly compare performance across the main areas of the audit.
- Structured Data, including JSON-LD, meta tags, entity linking, date markup, and media semantics
- LLM-Friendly Formatting, including heading structure, tables and lists, and Q&A structure
- Accessibility, including critical DOM and Core Web Vitals checks
- LLM as a Judge, including embedding overlap and content clarity analysis
- Discoverability, including robots.txt, sitemap, HTTP hygiene, social tags, llms.txt, and MCP.json checks
- Readability, including readability score and content density
Keep the report focused on the conversation you want to start. For most outbound campaigns, a broad diagnostic report gives the prospect the most useful overview. Use a smaller selection when you want a shorter, executive-friendly report or when your outreach has a clear angle, such as content quality or technical website improvements.
3. Add and validate prospect webpages
Add up to 25 valid, unique webpages. You can either paste the URLs into the Webpage URLs field or select Upload CSV.
brightwave.com
summitlabs.co
greenfield.ai
Up to 25 valid, unique webpages per campaign.
Paste URLs
Enter one webpage per line. You can paste domains such as example.com or complete page URLs. AI Page Ready normalizes the entries and removes duplicates before saving them.
Upload a CSV
Use a CSV when you already maintain prospect websites in a spreadsheet or outreach tool. Upload the file, then review the imported webpages before continuing.
Validate the list
Select Validate URLs before moving to the review step. Prospector reports how many valid webpages it found so you can correct invalid or duplicate entries before using any credits.
If different prospects need different languages, branding, report sections, or AI engines, place them in separate campaigns.
4. Review and start the campaign
The final step summarizes the campaign before any reports are generated. Review:
You currently have 12 available.
- The campaign name
- The number of webpages and report language
- The completion notification recipients
- The report sections and checks you selected
- Whether AI Search Visibility is included
- The credits required and your available balance
Select Start Campaign when everything is correct. If you are not ready to generate reports, select Save Draft and return to the campaign later.
Check the settings carefully before starting. Once a campaign has started, its Settings tab becomes a read-only record of the configuration used to generate those reports.
Monitor campaign progress
Open a campaign from the Campaigns tab to follow its progress. The campaign page shows how many reports are ready, failed, or still remaining, together with an overall progress bar.
4 webpages · English
If you configured completion notification emails, AI Page Ready sends the notification after every webpage has finished. A completed campaign shows each webpage and its report status in the Reports table.
If a webpage fails, Prospector displays the failure reason. Failed webpages are not counted as used credits, and their reserved credits are released.
Open, download, and share reports
Every successful webpage has two report formats:
- Web report — Select Open web report to review the interactive report. Use Copy report link when you want to include it in an email or outreach sequence.
- PDF report — Select Download PDF report to save the branded PDF and attach it to an email or use it during a sales conversation.
For the whole campaign, use Copy All Links to collect the report links or Download All PDFs to download the completed PDF reports together.
Use the report in outreach
A report works best as evidence for a short, specific observation—not as a substitute for a personal message. Mention one finding that is relevant to the prospect, explain why it matters, and provide the report as supporting detail.
Before sending outreach at scale, open a sample of the web reports and PDFs to confirm the branding, language, links, and report sections.
Understand credits and usage
One successfully completed webpage uses one Prospector credit. The top of Prospector shows your total available balance. On the campaign's Review step, the Credits Required card compares the number of webpages in the campaign with your currently available credits.
- Monthly credits reset with your billing period. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
- Top-up credits are used after monthly credits and expire 12 months after purchase.
- In-progress credits are reserved while reports are being generated.
- Failed webpages are not charged as used credits; their reservations are released.
Open Usage to see current-period usage and billing-period history. Open Credits to see the split between monthly and top-up credits or to purchase additional credits.
Troubleshooting
A webpage is rejected during validation
- Make sure each entry contains a real domain or complete webpage URL.
- Put each pasted URL on its own line.
- Remove malformed entries and validate the list again.
- Check whether the same normalized webpage appears more than once.
You do not have enough credits
Reduce the number of webpages, split the list into a smaller campaign, wait for the next monthly reset, or open the Credits tab to purchase a top-up.
A report fails during processing
Open the campaign and check the failed webpage's reason. A failed webpage does not consume a used credit. Confirm that the page is publicly accessible before trying it in a new campaign.
The report branding is not what you expected
Open the campaign's Settings tab to confirm which appearance and PDF settings were used. Started campaigns are read-only, so create a new campaign when you need to generate reports with different branding or content settings.

How many webpages can I add to one campaign?
You can add up to 25 valid, unique webpages. Create another campaign for additional webpages or whenever a group needs different report settings.
How many credits does a campaign use?
Each successfully completed webpage uses one credit. Enabling AI Search Visibility does not add another credit.
Do failed webpages use credits?
No. Only successful core audits are counted as used. Prospector shows failed webpages with a reason and releases their reserved credits.
Can I change a campaign after it starts?
You can review its configuration in the Settings tab, but started campaigns are read-only. Create a new campaign when you need different webpages, branding, language, report sections, or visibility settings.
What is the difference between Prospector and the AEO Audit Widget?
